Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in our 44-bed Progressive Care Unit
Monitor neuro and spinal checks while managing chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions
Collaborate with a dynamic team of 95 dedicated staff members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform essential procedures including C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, and lumbar drains
Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed while maintaining excellence in every setting
Build meaningful connections with patients and families during their most vulnerable moments

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of progressive care experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proven expertise in neuro and trauma care
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Strong team player with a patient-focused mindset

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro and trauma care expertise
Chest tube and tracheostomy management
PCA pump and IV infusion administration
Patient lifting and mobility assistance
Cerner electronic medical records system
