Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing patients with complex cardiac, vascular, and respiratory needs
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to improve patient experience scores and outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to care for PCU-level patients and expand your clinical skills
Serve a diverse patient population including Hispanic and Somalian communities with cultural sensitivity

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating cardiac drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills and comfort with high-flow oxygen equipment
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
Valid driver's license to confirm travel radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration and arterial line management
Patient assessment for cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, and post-procedure patients
Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication and patient education skills
