Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating and patient care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure smooth, safe procedures for patients of all ages
• Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment to patient care
• Maintain flexibility as schedules change daily, adapting quickly to support the OR team and deliver excellent outcomes
• Educate and mentor colleagues while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience across multiple surgical specialties with comfort working in a generalist OR setting
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm eligibility outside the 50-mile radius
• No current full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Comfort working in a 7-OR, 2-endo-suite department serving adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and obstetric patients
• Understanding of varied surgical procedures without reliance on specialized teams
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability to changing daily schedules
