Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate complex cardiovascular cases including CABGs and TCARS
Support neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomies and spinal surgeries
Assist with orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements using advanced robotics
Provide expert care across general, urology, and specialty procedures
Precept and mentor fellow team members when needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 5 years of hospital operating room experience preferred
Strong robotics experience with DaVinci and Mako systems
Proven ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies
Excellent references and reliability are essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expert circulating skills across multiple surgical specialties
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong cardiovascular and neurosurgical case knowledge
Ability to handle trauma and complex procedures
Precepting and mentoring capabilities
