Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate complex cardiovascular cases including CABGs and TCARS with precision and care
Support neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomies, TLIFs, and laminectomies
Assist with orthopedic surgeries using advanced Mako and DaVinci robotic systems
Provide expert care across multiple specialties including general, eyes, endo, and cysto procedures
Precept and mentor fellow team members when opportunities arise
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 4 years of operating room experience
Strong preference for candidates with 5+ years of hospital OR experience
Proven ability to circulate in cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general specialties
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems required
Excellent references and commitment to reliable attendance

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic-assisted procedures
Comfortable floating between two nearby campuses as needed
Strong understanding of multiple surgical specialties and equipment
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Willingness to precept and support team development
