Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate oncology and general surgery nursing care to patients on a 24-bed unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication regimens with precision and care
Monitor vital signs and provide timely interventions for med-surg and remote telemetry patients
Collaborate closely with charge nurses and care teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Utilize Meditech and CPN electronic medical records to document and coordinate care
Support a positive, team-oriented environment that values every nurse's input

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care oncology nursing experience
Chemo certification and ACLS preferred
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing expertise with chemotherapy administration skills
Proficient with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
Comfortable with remote telemetry monitoring and vital sign protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced med-surg environment with diverse patient needs
