Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those with CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms with precision using central monitoring systems
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless bedside reports
Float to various telemetry units and ICU overflow as needed while maintaining excellent patient ratios of 1:4

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Level 1 trauma background
Neuro experience highly preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab skills assessment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience with titrating Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin drips
Comfortable caring for trached patients, brain tumor cases, and patients with encephalopathy or ESRD
Proficient with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation systems
Team player ready to float across tele units and support ICU overflow
