Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing compassionate, high-quality care
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient changes
Deliver excellent post-procedural and post-cardiac cath care
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Support patients through recovery after CABG, MI, and orthopedic procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Comfort managing multiple titratable drips

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
Skilled with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
Able to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
