Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and rehab units
Monitor and assess adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical needs
Administer medications and titrate heparin drips according to protocols
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities and fill scheduling gaps as needed
Provide education and support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Prior neuro experience preferred
Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across medical-surgical and telemetry units
Ability to float between cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, and ortho specialties
Comfortable working with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and tele monitoring equipment
Excellent communication and adaptability in dynamic float pool environments
