Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
Monitor and manage titratable drips including Heparin while maintaining patient safety
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding excellent standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Preferred experience in Neuro, Alaris pumps, and EPIC documentation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to varying unit needs
Comfortable managing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
