Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 4 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Monitor and manage adult-geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses from post-surgical care to stable long-term placements
Titrate Heparin drips and collaborate with designated charge nurses who support the team
Work alongside nurse aids and respiratory therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred along with Alaris and EPIC familiarity
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone and maintain flexibility with scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills across cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical patient populations
Ability to read telemetry strips and respond to changing patient conditions
Comfort working with EPIC documentation and Alaris infusion pumps
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating assignments
