Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute care and swing bed patients
Monitor and titrate drips as needed following protocols
Read and interpret telemetry strips
Float to ED holds and assist as needed
Act as charge nurse when required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
At least 1 year of MedSurg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with telemetry and drip titration
Ability to work in a fast-paced ED/MedSurg environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care and swing bed nursing
Skill in telemetry interpretation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle multiple patients in various acuity levels
Effective communication and teamwork
