Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg and pediatric patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy to support recovery and discharge goals
Document care and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and professionally

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
Experience or comfort working in Med/Surg and pediatric patient populations (listed as core skills)
Willingness to complete required orientation at the facility
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Med/Surg nursing practices and protocols
Pediatric assessment and age-appropriate care
Medication administration and IV therapy basics
Patient and family education techniques
Accurate documentation and clinical charting
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely
