Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality external beam radiation treatments using Elekta treatment units and associated imaging (CBCT, kV/mV)
• Operate treatment planning and delivery systems with attention to radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Perform simulation, beam modifying/positioning, and create custom molds/shields and portal casts as required
• Execute treatment delivery for a variety of diagnoses (e.g., prostate, breast, head & neck, benign brain tumors) including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT
• Chart treatments accurately in Epic and complete required chart checks to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education, lift/transfer support, and safe care for patients with restraints or special needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (radiology, respiratory, social services, lift teams) to coordinate patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-timers accepted for consideration)
• Pending licenses are not accepted; active/valid licensure required at submission
• RTO (requested time off) restrictions must be included at time of submission
• Willingness to float between like units

• Custom molds, custom shields, portal cast fabrication
