Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring a safe, efficient environment for patients and clinicians
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation safely and according to protocol
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems (Philips and Siemens) to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Document procedures and patient data accurately using Merge
• Support advanced procedures including TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM and peripheral endovascular interventions
• Collaborate with the cath lab team to anticipate needs, prepare equipment, and maintain sterile technique
• Provide compassionate patient and family education before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to unit-specific policies and safety standards

Qualifications

• Cath lab circulating experience and demonstrated competency with moderate sedation (MUST have)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as listed in the job details)
• Merge documentation experience preferred
• Comfort working 12-hour shifts and participating in call rotation (7-8 days/month)
• Experience supporting advanced cath lab procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral procedures) is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Familiarity with Merge documentation and workflow
• Strong cath lab procedural knowledge including LHC/RHC and endovascular techniques
• Skillful patient monitoring during moderate sedation
• Excellent team communication and situational awareness in high-acuity settings
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain sterile technique under pressure
