Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care during overnight hours
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean care environment
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nursing staff
• Respond promptly to patient needs and collaborate with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and remain alert throughout the shift
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient mobility
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with patient hygiene and bedside care
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
• Reliable documentation and time-management skills
• Empathy, patience, and a calm approach during overnight care
