Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Weekday day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM; rotating weekday nights on a 2-week repeating schedule (no block scheduling); no call, no holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert, high-acuity nursing care for Level 1 trauma and craniotomy patients with compassion and precision
Assess, monitor and document patient status thoroughly to support excellent outcomes
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
Demonstrate advanced procedural and post-op neuro care skills as required by the unit
Maintain accurate professional profiles and required demographic information in the HWL system per facility process

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state license as required)
Minimum 2 years of documented Level 1 trauma experience — this must be listed clearly in your work history
Proven experience caring for craniotomy patients and strong ratings on skills checklist
Ability to complete and maintain required HWL profile information per facility guidelines

Knowledge & Skills

Deep familiarity with Level 1 trauma protocols and high-acuity care
Skilled in neuro/post-craniotomy patient monitoring and interventions
Strong clinical assessment, documentation and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented trauma/neuro environment
Familiarity with HWL VMS portal processes and profile requirements
