Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms to identify changes in patient status
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care including medication administration and IV therapy
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in clinical condition

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior telemetry experience and confidence with cardiac rhythm recognition
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BSN preferred but ADN holders with strong telemetry experience are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• IV therapy, medication administration, and bedside nursing skills
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Ability to work independently on night shift while collaborating with the team
