Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients with cardiac monitoring needs
• Continuously assess and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions with compassion

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; CA license preferred
• Telemetry nursing experience, comfortable with cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac telemetry interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for adult medical-surgical and cardiac patients
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to triage, escalate concerns, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Patient education and discharge planning skills
• Time management and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts
