Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography across the department, including portable and fixed radiographic studies
• Support emergency department trauma imaging with speed, accuracy, and calm under pressure
• Assist in the operating room and surgical imaging cases, including C-arm and O-arm procedures
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed and follow radiation safety protocols
• Document exams and patient care accurately in Cerner RadNet and other EMR systems
• Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning, immobilization, and patient communication
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team to ensure high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiography (portable, ED/trauma, OR experience preferred)
• Comfortable performing portable imaging, trauma imaging, and surgical/OR radiography
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy and C-arm/O-arm equipment is a plus
• Ability to document in Cerner RadNet or similar EMR systems
• Team-player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic radiography techniques and positioning
• Portable radiography procedures and patient handling
• Emergency department trauma imaging protocols
• Operating room radiography and intraoperative imaging (C-arm/O-arm)
• Fluoroscopy fundamentals and radiation safety
• Proficiency with Cerner RadNet or comparable imaging information systems
• Strong patient communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
