Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with established nursing procedures
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to supervisors in a timely, professional manner
• Document care accurately and thoroughly to support continuity and quality of care
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure each resident’s comfort, dignity, and safety
• Support a calm, respectful night environment to promote resident rest and recovery

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Experience or interest in long-term care and resident-centered support (preferred)
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Ability to follow established nursing care procedures and take direction from supervisors
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and support residents

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Resident-focused care and basic nursing care routines
• Assisting with ADLs and promoting resident dignity
• Accurate documentation and reporting of resident status
• Basic infection control and safe patient handling principles
• Teamwork, clear communication, and reliability on night shifts
