Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour afternoon shifts, 48 hours per week, every other weekend and holidays as required

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Med-Surg and Telemetry unit.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Float to other units as needed to support team efforts and ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required.
Telemetry experience required.
Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile).
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand at profile upload).
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required.
Willingness to float to other units as needed.
Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required).
Ability to commit to a 48-hour work week with every other weekend and holidays.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech Expanse electronic health record system (highly preferred).
Knowledge of basic dysrhythmia interpretation.
Strong skills in cardiac monitoring and telemetry.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
