Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a 13-bed Med-Surg unit
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during night shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (able to practice in Oklahoma)
• Clinical experience or comfort working in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) settings
• Night-shift availability for 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM coverage
• Comfort working in a 13-bed unit with an approximate ratio of 1:5
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid Med-Surg nursing skills: assessments, medication administration, patient monitoring
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple patients safely
• Proficiency with documentation and charting in an electronic medical record
• Good IV/medication administration skills and familiarity with common hospital protocols
• Strong communication with patients, families and the clinical team
