Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with facility standards
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings clearly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Respond promptly to patient and family needs, educating and supporting them throughout care
• Ensure charting and documentation are timely, accurate, and compliant with policies

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing; LPN candidates with appropriate licensure may also be considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care or related settings preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused bedside manner
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with facility teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred
• Practical Nursing diploma for LPN applicants

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Skilled at time management, prioritization, and handling changing patient acuity
• Collaborative teamwork and clear communication with patients, families, and staff
