Roles & Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, massage therapy, gait training, and balance training under the direction of supervising physical therapists
Document patient progress thoroughly and report treatment outcomes to the physical therapist after each session
Collaborate with physical therapists and the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and progress expectations
Maintain accurate, timely treatment records and follow facility policies and documentation standards
Make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that supports recovery and independence

Qualifications

Current Texas PTA license or Compact PTA license (Compact allowed) — documentation required at submission
Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
Strong ability to document patient progress and report treatment outcomes clearly
Comfort working day shifts and meeting the guaranteed 40-hour workweek
