Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography across the department, including portable and OR imaging, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses
• Respond quickly and competently to ED trauma imaging needs, helping the team manage critical cases
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm/O-arm equipment when required, maintaining safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, ED staff, and technologists during surgical and trauma procedures to deliver timely imaging support
• Accurately document exams and patient details in Cerner RadNet to maintain seamless continuity of care
• Maintain and care for imaging equipment, report issues promptly, and follow infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) certification (required)
• 2+ years of radiologic technology experience, with solid skills in diagnostic radiology, portable and OR imaging
• Experience with ED trauma imaging is expected
• Fluoroscopy experience is preferred and will make you a standout candidate
• Comfortable using Cerner RadNet or similar EMR imaging systems
• Team player who can also work independently and handle weekend rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Diagnostic Radiology procedures including portable imaging and OR/trauma support
• Experience with fluoroscopy and intraoperative imaging workflows
• Familiarity with equipment: GE radiology rooms, portable GE units, Shiatzu portable units
• Hands-on with C-arm (OEC) and O-arm (Medtronics) devices
• Strong documentation skills in Cerner RadNet
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced ED and surgical environments
