Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC and PCI
• Prepare and operate cath lab equipment (GE) and support advanced devices such as Impella and IABP
• Provide ventilator support and manage airway equipment when required
• Coordinate patient care in the cath lab and maintain accurate documentation in Meditech
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary 3-person procedural team to ensure safe, efficient cases
• Follow unit guidelines and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and help maintain inventory and procedural readiness
• Communicate clearly with physicians, nursing staff and patient families to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (explicit requirement in posting)
• Proven experience with Impella, IABP and ventilator management (must-have skills)
• Comfortable supporting LHC, RHC, PCI and other cath lab procedures such as shockwave and PPM cases
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE cath lab equipment
• Vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience preferred
• Independent, strong work ethic and great attitude that fits a busy day-shift team

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in cardiac catheterization workflow and sterile technique
• Hands-on experience with Impella and IABP device setup and care
• Proficient with ventilator support in procedural settings
• Experience using Meditech EMR for documentation and orders
• Knowledge of GE cath lab imaging equipment
• Strong situational awareness, team communication and critical thinking
