Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate critical care to post-op cardiac and CVICU patients with focus and precision
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and cardiac telemetry data to guide timely interventions
• Administer medications, titrate drips and manage complex infusions safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team—surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists and pharmacists—to deliver coordinated care plans
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations and post-discharge plans with clarity and empathy
• Document assessments, interventions and patient progress thoroughly to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU specialty (RN is listed as primary skill)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience (as specified)
• Proven experience working in a cardiovascular intensive care environment (CVICU)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and other critical care certifications are a strong plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Post-operative cardiac care and chest tube management
• Critical care assessment and rapid decision-making
• Intravenous medication administration and infusion management
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and patient/family education skills
