Roles & Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications accurately using DoseEdge, Pyxis and Pak Edge
• Perform sterile IV compounding and oversee compounding procedures to ensure safety
• Provide clinical dosing for vancomycin, aminoglycosides and anticoagulants
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee pyxis checks, first doses and emergency boxes
• Document medication verification and interventions in Meditech clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams on pain consults and therapeutic monitoring
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, dress code and facility guidelines while modeling professionalism

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School (required)
• Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Missouri (MO) — active license required
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience (as listed in the order details)
• Experience with sterile IV compounding and medication verification
• Proficiency with DoseEdge, Pyxis, Pak Edge and Meditech
• Comfort supervising technicians and managing night-shift workflows
• ACLS/BLS and NICU experience are preferred but not required

Education

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School
