Shift Type: Initial (May 4, 2026 – ~June 15, 2026): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day shift, no weekend coverage at Genesis Coshocton Medical Center). Beginning ~June 15, 2026: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (combination of 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), including every 5th weekend with shifts approximately 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Day / rotating (periodic weekend coverage).

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality obstetric and abdominal diagnostic ultrasound exams with attention to detail
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while optimizing images for accurate interpretation
• Document findings and communicate results clearly in Epic EMR to support timely patient care
• Provide compassionate patient education and ensure comfort during exams
• Collaborate with radiologists, obstetric teams, and the care team to coordinate imaging needs
• Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and compliance with BLS and facility policies
• Manage a high-volume schedule efficiently while maintaining quality and professionalism

Qualifications

• Active RDMS certification with OB/GYN and Abdominal specialties required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proven experience working in a high-volume ultrasound environment (new graduates will not be considered)
• Hands-on experience with Epic EMR preferred and necessary for documentation
• Comfortable adapting to a site transition mid-assignment and periodic weekend coverage
• Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills; reliable and team-oriented

Knowledge & Skills

• Obstetric ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Abdominal ultrasound imaging and anatomy
• Proficiency with Epic EMR for exam documentation and results communication
• Image optimization, probe selection, and patient positioning
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and patient safety practices
• Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced clinical setting
