Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate the Signa Artist 1.5T MRI to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform MRI scanning and imaging procedures while following safety protocols
• Screen and prepare patients, ensuring MRI safety and comfort throughout the exam
• Document procedures and images accurately using Meditech and Centricity PACS
• Communicate results and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and unit staff
• Participate in rotating call coverage and contribute to smooth shift handoffs
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance or image quality issues

Qualifications

• Valid MRI license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as listed in the posting)
• Comfortable working with Signa Artist 1.5T systems
• Familiarity with Meditech and Centricity PACS for documentation and image handling
• Willingness to participate in rotating call and the unit dress code (black scrubs)

Education

• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program or equivalent training (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven MRI imaging skills and safety practices
• Hands-on experience with Signa Artist 1.5T
• Working knowledge of Meditech and Centricity PACS documentation systems
• Strong patient communication and positioning techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team
• Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
