Shift Type: Various 12-hour shifts (days or nights), including weekends and holidays; schedule provided 4 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and babies in the Family Birthing Center, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Assist with cesarean sections and circulate in the OR
Monitor fetal well-being and titrate medications such as pitocin and insulin as needed
Respond to emergencies and support newborn stabilization in the NICU
Collaborate with OB, anesthesia, and perinatal specialist teams
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care

Qualifications

Current RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience; L&D with OR circulating experience accepted
Comfortable with NRP at delivery and neonatal resuscitation
Ability to titrate drips and manage high-acuity patients

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care
Skills in newborn resuscitation and stabilization
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in using fetal monitoring systems (e.g., Fetalink)
