Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and postpartum families
Monitor fetal heart tracings and manage oxytocin and magnesium drips
Collaborate with surgical team during C-sections as baby circulator
Float to ED for 1:1 patient sitting when needed
Titrate intravenous medications including magnesium and oxytocin

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass fit testing with approved respirator
Comfortable working in a rural hospital setting
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating labor medications (oxytocin, magnesium)
Expertise in electronic fetal monitoring (OB Trace Vue)
Knowledge of neonatal respiratory support equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, high flow)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a rural environment
