Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced rotation, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Support families through high-acuity situations including high BMI, diabetes, and substance use cases
Collaborate with a minimum staffing model of 2-3 RNs to ensure safe, quality care
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
LDRP experience required
Ability to titrate drips and read own fetal monitoring strips
Willingness to take call and work rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Comfortable working independently with minimal support staff
Ability to float within the facility zone when census is low
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
