Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
Monitor and respond to physiological changes using advanced assessment skills
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and collaborate on complex care plans
Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and patients’ families
Document patient status and interventions accurately and promptly
Participate in unit quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current, active RN license (appropriate state licensure required)
ICU/critical care experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour clinical shifts in a fast-paced ICU environment
Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ICU monitoring and interpretation of cardiac/respiratory data
Experience with ventilator management and vasoactive medication titration
Skilled in IV/central line management and complex medication administration
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond effectively in emergencies
