Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, EOW/EOH required; July 3 and 4 mandatory work days

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement life-saving interventions
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of safety

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong critical care experience preferred
Ability to pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with Trinity-specific protocols and documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Strong assessment and decision-making skills under pressure
