Location: Des Moines, Iowa

End Date: 09-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, EOW/EOH required with July 3 and 4 mandatory

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver life-saving interventions
Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
Educate patients and families on recovery plans and next steps

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong critical care experience in an ICU setting
Ability to pass Trinity competency testing and skills checklist

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing skills
Stroke assessment expertise with NIHSS certification
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
