Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with a dynamic team across all sections of the Emergency Department
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic health records
Respond swiftly to critical situations while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to support team growth
Uphold AIDET communication standards and keep patients informed throughout their visit

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
ENPC certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
Preferred experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume ED (greater than 100,000 visits annually)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork mentality and flexibility to float within all ED areas
Proficiency with Cerner documentation and Baxter pumps, GE monitors
Ability to coach teammates and provide real-time feedback
Commitment to respectful, patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
