Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Stockton, California
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights of call per 4 week schedule) and weekend call every 2nd or 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care in our busy CVOR unit performing 23-25 cases daily across multiple specialties
- Collaborate with a skilled team running up to 10 operating rooms including dedicated heart rooms
- Support a robust Open Heart Surgery program while handling diverse cases from General to Vascular and Ortho
- Float within the OR department as needed to support team success and patient care
- Maintain compliance with all required Cerner documentation and MyJourney training modules
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Cerner experience required
- No first time travelers
- Previous CVOR experience with ability to work in general OR preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cerner electronic health records
- Expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures
- Ability to handle high-volume case loads across multiple specialties
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work call shifts and weekends as scheduled
