Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
Build a positive nursing culture while enhancing staff competency and professional growth
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cardiac, vascular, and EP cases
Manage pre-procedure preparation and recovery for patients in the 3-bay pre/post area
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage critical care patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions
Float to support other departments as a helping hand when needed
Monitor telemetry strips and confirm readings every 4 hours in the ICU setting

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required
Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
Critical care and telemetry experience essential
Experience with vasoactive drips and moderate sedation

Knowledge & Skills

Critical Care expertise
Telemetry monitoring proficiency
Vasoactive drip management
Moderate sedation administration
Cardiac, vascular, and EP procedure knowledge
ICU patient care including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
