Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Assist with open and endovascular vascular cases
Support Type A dissections, thoracoabdominal approaches, sternotomies, CABG/AVR/MVR, VSD repairs, and TAVR procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the CVOR team in a fast-paced environment
Manage Impella and ECMO insertions and ascending/descending aorta repairs
Provide exceptional patient care during thoracic robotic cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience
Experience scrubbing and circulating in cardiac and vascular surgery
Ability to work well under pressure in emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery
Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles
Knowledge of complex cardiac procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
Familiarity with Impella, ECMO, and robotic thoracic cases
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
