Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Support life-saving surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR cases
Assist with advanced interventions such as Impella and ECMO insertions
Collaborate with surgeons and the CVOR team in a fast-paced environment
Provide exceptional patient care during open and endovascular vascular cases
Float to Main OR, Cath Lab, and IR as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience
Experience scrubbing and circulating in cardiac and vascular surgery
Ability to work well under pressure in emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery
Proficiency scrubbing and circulating complex cases
Knowledge of vascular procedures including open and endovascular techniques
Familiarity with cardiac cases such as Type A dissections and sternotomies
Team player mindset with excellent communication skills
