Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients experiencing behavioral health challenges
Manage high-stress situations with calm professionalism on a fast-paced unit
Respond swiftly to psychiatric emergencies and behavioral health crises
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs and BHTs to deliver exceptional patient care
Perform essential procedures including IVs, wound care, and vital monitoring
Support patients across adult, geriatric, and other behavioral health populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
BLS certification required
CPI certification required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Ability to manage aggressive patients with patience and compassion

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-pressure environments
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Experience working with diverse behavioral health populations
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Comfort with fast-paced admissions and discharges
