Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 days per week. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (Nights: Friday and Saturday; Days: Saturday and Sunday). Holidays may be required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Place patients into appropriate units across multiple hospitals (500-1000 beds) using critical thinking and communication skills
• Utilize TeleTracking and Cerner systems to manage bed placement and patient flow
• Collaborate with charge nurses and leadership to ensure appropriate bed assignments
• Work with three screens and multiple applications (TeleTracking, Cerner, Google apps) to coordinate placements
• Communicate with ED, leadership, and other departments via chats and calls to facilitate timely patient placement
• Ensure patients are assigned to the correct unit based on medical needs (e.g., telemetry vs. med-surg)

Qualifications

• We welcome RNs, LVNs, and CNAs with an active license in Arizona
• Recent acute care experience required (2 years preferred; last 1-2 assignments in acute care)
• Must have experience with TeleTracking and Cerner systems
• Strong computer proficiency, including Zoom and Google applications
• Excellent multitasking and customer service skills
• Ability to use critical thinking to identify inappropriate bed requests and escalate when needed
