Roles & Responsibilities

Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians
Ensure the highest standards of care and safety for patients
Work closely with medical professionals to follow patient treatment plans
Operate linear accelerators, simulators, computer, calculator, and blood irradiator

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist
Current certification in CPR at Healthcare Professional level
1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist (preferred)

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Radiation therapy techniques and principles
Patient care and safety protocols
Medical terminology and record-keeping
Communication and interpersonal skills
