End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend shifts required with a weekday off in exchange; all staff work holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, and Oncology
Assess and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, total joint replacements, and cardiac surgeries
Provide therapy services to ventilated patients in the ICU with confidence and skill
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized rehabilitation plans
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR
Support patients through every stage of recovery, helping them regain strength and independence

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilated patient therapy experience
Cerner EMR documentation proficiency
Cardiology and post-cardiac surgery patient care knowledge
Oncology rehabilitation skills
