Location: Merced, California

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with possible 10-hour schedules for PT travelers; weekend coverage split Wednesday-Saturday and Sunday-Wednesday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services across diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team including OT and ST professionals
Provide care in both outpatient center and home health settings
Support early mobility programs and stroke-certified care initiatives
Contribute to specialized programs like total joint replacement and wound care therapy

Qualifications

Current California PT license required
BLS certification
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Willingness to float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary patient populations
Comfort working with both adult and pediatric patients
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
