Paramedic – UHC Staffing

Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 24 hours on, 24 hours on call (10 minutes response), 96 hours off; schedule may change with 30 days notice

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver professional and compassionate pre-hospital care to patients of all ages
Perform thorough patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
Administer medications safely using the five patient rights
Manage advanced airways with CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator support
Coordinate seamless patient transfers between facilities
Supervise EMTs and ensure scene safety for staff and bystanders
Document all care accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Paramedic License and NREMT-P certification
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Valid Minnesota license plus either a North Dakota license or Compact license with proof of privilege to practice
Strong ALS experience and comfort titrating drips
Preferred intubation experience

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced Life Support and patient assessment expertise
Medication administration and drip titration
Airway management with CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators
Clear communication during patient hand-offs
Ability to adapt workload and staffing needs on the fly
