Shift Type: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Roles & Responsibilities

Treat and manage orthopedic patients arriving through the ER
Perform orthopedic OR procedures, stabilizations, and splinting
Handle trauma cases including fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, and tendon ruptures
Collaborate with ER and OR staff to deliver timely care
Document patient encounters in Meditech and Allscripts EMR systems

Qualifications

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (Board Eligible accepted)
Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC eligibility
BLS and ACLS certifications required
DEA registration required during credentialing
Clean malpractice history preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong orthopedic clinical skills
Experience with ER and trauma cases
Proficiency in Meditech and Allscripts EMR
Ability to work independently on call
