Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing exceptional patient care
- Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Care for post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and CABG patients on stepdown units
- Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver quality care
- Provide compassionate care to geriatric and orthopedic patients across both campuses
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
- Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow oxygen
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
- Flexible and adaptable to different unit assignments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
